I bought it yesterday. It's insane fun. Like the original UT only 10x for awesomnity, coolness, and funocity.

I tried to play Far Cry but my Radeon [that I got from my brother] causes the game's graphics to look messed up. :(

How messed up? Do you see lots of weird white dots in some places?

You can see through parts of objects in the game and it's all over the place so it's hard to ignore. Apparently it's a problem that the Radeon 8500 has.

Wow, that's bizarre. It might be a directx problem. One of my friends can't even play the game on his computer because of a bug in directx 8.

I'm pretty sure this is just a problem with the graphics card.

But that is a good card. Do you have all of the latest drivers installed?

Yes, but my brother says that the Radeon 8500 has problems with certain games and has done that to him before.

That doesn't sound right. Maybe it's just your specific card?

I don't think so, it works fine with just about every other game.
