READ WHAT I SAID!

You can be so dense sometimes...
I did read your post, shit head!!! Your points are extremely flawed, AS ALWAYS!
So you must dislike the Terran voices too because they're in the same theme as the CGs...

And it makes perfect sense story-wise! I think it's pretty funny... if it was just random it wouldn't work, but with their backstory it's not random, it makes perfect sense in the game. And is funny too. But it's not just for humor you know... it affects the story too. After all a major aspect of it is how the Terrans are getting pushed around and barely surviving, and that only would really make sense in this context... so no, you are not just attacking the humor of the movies.
The terrains in Starcraft with exceptions of the Earth ones , decended from criminals who's prison ships crashed landed on the outer planets,They formed a confederacy (hence why they sound like the south) . I think the hic thing was funny. The United earth directorate was all russians when they decided to invade the outer planets inhabaited by the prison ship decendants.

The Zerg voices sucked except the infested terrains and Kerrigan.

But Starcraft II will be coming soon I think after WOW beta , I think blizzard doesnt want to steal attention from WOW.They will add a Fourth race no doubt.

If by "soon" you mean "2006 at the earliest", then yes. I bet SC will be the next Blizz RTS. However, they will be in no hurry... this year comes SC: Ghost, and WoW... it takes a few years to make a Blizz game. WC3 took 3 1/2 years... expecting 3 years for SC2 (mid 2006) is reasonable.

And yes the Zerg voices were boring.

The UED weren't all Russians... Alexi Stukov was, but Gerard Dugalle? French name... the UED is pretty much the typical 'Earth has been taken over by a dictatorship' style government with absolute government control and little freedom from what we can see. But that doesn't make them Russian. :)

(approximately)
*country music is on radio; they hit something*
"hey sarge, what was that"
"I think we killed somebody's dog"
*get out of jeep*
"that ain't no dog, private"
"then what is it, sarge?"
"its a zergling. Smaller type of zerg. They usually travel in packs though..."
"oh no"
aaargh *flashlight drops to ground and goes out*

... its funnier in the cutscene... :D
I thought the SC intro and the voices were pretty funny, although I never did play enough of the single-player to see any of the other cinemas [at least not that I can remember].
But you get one every few missions, and the first few are easy...
warcraft III had taken 3 years because they screwed around alot on the concept and they were still working out the bugs of the new engine, Starcraft II may be more straight forward depending on what they dream up.

As for the U.E.D the valkries were russians so I guess there was alot of russians. I hope SCII has some more involvement with earth and perhaps some tilesets like the moon and mars.
Starcraft took 2 1/2 years, WC3 3 1/2. I wouldn't expect anything less than 2 1/2, and would be pretty surprised if it was that short. Blizz works slowly and carefully and doesn't release unfinished things... good for when we finally get them, but it does lead to frusterating delays. Expecting their next RTS in sooner than two years (minimum, easily more) will leave you dissapointed.

And the voices are just representations, not what everyone in that group is... :)

I just never played the single-player mode very much, I usually just played online or against bots.
You're seriously missing out... as I said, IMO it's one of the best stories in computer gaming... :)
