There's a reason it's called a rumor. This one has been around for a while, and I still have yet to see any reason to believe it.

That's why I added a question mark at the end instead of an exclamation point, and why I said "that would suck" instead of "this sucks". ;)

It's certaintly a possiblity given how quite Capcom has been about it lately, but I think it's unlikely.

I think a deal was struck between them. Capcom would have to rename it to "Resident Evil: Not part of the main series so we can port it wherever we wish" or something like that to be able to do that. Besides, GameInformer is karp.

Oh well. I won't be getting it either way anyway... and this rumor really has been around for a long time. It seems that the longer it lingers the less credible it seems... though it of course could still happen.

Yeah and I'll be playing this with my imaginary PS2 copy of Viewtiful Joe...

Just a rumor; and it better stay as such. Capcom would get a black mark in the Big Goron Book of Grudges if it put RE4 multi-system.

Heh... Planet Gamecube and IGN ran articles saying Capcom said RE4 was still exclusive and blasted the recent rumors. But I wouldn't be surprised if Capcom decided not to make it exclusive, but perhaps there was a deal with Nintendo to make it exclusive so they can't just break it off.

On the other hand, RE series has never captivated me. I thought it sucked on the PSX, and when it was remade the GC, I thought maybe they had fixed those terrible controls and such... apparently not, it still sucked ! No wonder Capcom is in trouble.
